Pammy Kramer, mother of Maddie Kramer, is the co-founder of Dancing Though Cancering. At 2 and a half years aged, her daughter Maddie was diagnosed with the exceptional cancer ATRT, a primary central nervous system tumor that generally begins in the brain or spinal cord. It started a hard journey for the Kramer relatives.
“She was full of strength, she was spunky. She experienced curly hair. She beloved to sing and dance. She loved to play,” Pammy Kramer mentioned. “In the early days of her most cancers journey, of course they had been incredibly dim days. And that was my major concern is like, will she be Mattie all over again?”
Maddie misplaced her struggle with cancer in Jan. 2018. But Pammy reported they didn’t let the discomfort of her death retain them from providing back what Maddie gave them. Her mother and father started Dancing Even though Cancering, a nonprofit devoted to bringing pleasure to pediatric cancer individuals through simple “smile packs”.
“We ended up pretty blessed. And she was in a position to continue to sing and dance and participate in for lots of times throughout her eight-and-a-half-month fight with most cancers,” Kramer claimed. “It was just a no brainer on what to do. We understood that a mission of bringing pleasure was so in line with what she did throughout her journey, that we knew that would be the mission and then it just went from there.”
The mission has considering the fact that been introduced to Methodist Children’s Clinic, and officials there say the smile packs have created a enormous impact.

Pammy explained they are coming up on 3 yrs considering that they’ve created the nonprofit and that it is hard to neglect their previous second with Maddie.
